I Cannot Vote for Ron Paul
63That is what Newt Gingrich said on CNN news when asked if Ron Paul does, by some divine miracle -gone bad- is the Republican presidential candidate.
Who could NOT agree with that? Newt is telling it like it is- reality - that Ron Paul is such a loony with ideas and concepts that would never attract sane voters who are middle roaders, whether Republican or Democratic. Ron Paul's has serious age issues and baggage issues about what others wrote for him 20 years ago in newsletters that are inflammatory at minimum. Even if you give him the benefit of the doubt about memory loss, it is still to dangerous to elect a loon like Ron Paul who has tried this before. His son, is totally a different issue and could be a presidential candidate in the future, he is much more rational and mainstream.
Ron Paul is just a spoiler in the election process, a waste of his money and time. He will NEVER be a serious candidate even if he wins the Iowa causcaus. Nobody takes him serious and even his friends privately agree with Newt Gingrich. Is Ron Paul serious? He is a joke among the Republican candidates no matter how serious he tries to come across.
In the end, the only real viable Republican candidates will be Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney and maybe Perry. Newt was simply voicing what most people think of Ron Paul. Sometimes, the truth is hard to face.

John Stewart and Bill Maher don't think that Ron Paul is unelectable or looney.
But don't take anyone's word for it. Do the research yourself, and by research I don't mean watch CNN.
I agree with you, Old Paul is an old retread which could turn out to be the un-imaginable, something even WORSE than what we have now!
No, you cannot trust CNN, or Yahoo ... but sadly, neither can you trust Fox, and many think they can. The BBC is an interesting read, though ... you just have to dig to learn what's really going on.
Congratulations, Perry! You believe everything your government tells you to. You make us all proud to be American. Now go back to sleep.
From a college campus perspective, I see plenty of support for Paul. That isn't to say I support him (separating too drastically into state-run versus federal-run system will lead to extreme internal issues).
I say, stop watching the news! It's all biased. Use the AP at best, read records and votes and look for the candidates explanations for voting in certain ways. The BBC is usually okay. News has a slant, because it has specific audiences to cater to. The larger the audience (hopefully), the less slanted news will be (again, hopefully).
Greeting Perrya,
You article is very interesting. I agree with the commenter that stated that the news is bias, however it is owned by the rich that seek to be richer by clouding the issues and speaking to our own bias. Ron Paul is clever in making money if someone is sending all of their money as one commenter acknowledged. The man is already rich why does he need other people's money which leads me to believe this person is confused or crazy. I can understand sending donations to help the campaign but all your money makes me wonder hard about the message that person received. It seems Ron may have a cult follower. It good to see that their are intelligent people are sharing quality information about the inappropriate republican villains trying to buy the presidency.

I have to say, I would and will vote for Ron Paul in a New York minute, and have sent him ALL of my online earnings this year, and I am definitely not crazy. To me, he represents the only opportunity we have to rescue ourselves from the morass in which the the self serving politicians from both sides of the fence have landed us. Read his books. They make a WORLD of sense!
